This policy explains how Ledger Era collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit ledgerera.com, create an account, publish a listing, or communicate through the service. It also explains the choices and privacy rights available to you.

What we store

• Account data: email, password hash, name, handle, profile image, company and professional profile fields you provide
• Listings: description, price (USD), address, location pin, crypto flag, property details
• Messages and feedback between parties on a listing
• Reports and admin audit events for safety
• Technical data: IP and device signals for rate limiting, abuse prevention, security, diagnostics, and reliability

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the marketplace; authenticate accounts; publish and rank listings; enable search, maps, messaging, notifications, and reputation; respond to support and rights requests; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with law; and understand and improve service reliability. Where required, our legal bases include performance of our contract with you, legitimate interests in operating a safe service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent.

Public information and search engines

Published listings and public profiles—including listing addresses or map coordinates you submit—are public by design. Search engines, AI services, and other third parties may index, cache, or redistribute public pages. Removing content from Ledger Era does not guarantee immediate removal of copies held by third parties.

What we share

Public profiles and published listings are visible to everyone worldwide. Email addresses are not shown on public pages. We use service providers for hosting, databases, file storage, email, maps and geocoding, authentication, rate limiting, and security. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and similar technology

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember necessary settings, and operate the service. Infrastructure providers may process device and request information to deliver and secure the site. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than your own (for example, where our hosting and database providers operate). By using Ledger Era you understand that your information may be transferred internationally as needed to provide the service. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards for these transfers.

Your choices

You may update profile fields, pause or remove listings, and request access to or deletion of your account by emailing privacy@ledgerera.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to correction, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal, and may complain to your local data protection authority. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where local law permits.

Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service. Retention varies by data type and considers security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, legal obligations, backups, and legal holds. Messages, moderation records, and audit events may be retained after account closure when necessary for those purposes.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Children

Ledger Era is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when required.
